We cordially invite you to an inspiring and sociable meeting on Thursday evening March 13th in the Fontys ICT InnovationLab! This is the opportunity to meet old acquaintances, make new connections and be inspired by the latest developments within Fontys ICT.

Guest speaker: Rens van der Vorst
Rens van der Vorst, known for his unique combination of in-depth technological insights and fiery stand-up comedy, will take us on a stimulating session. He will challenge us to think about our relationship with technology. Does technology really make our lives better? Do we know what is better? And how can we develop better technology? Rens chafes, entertains and inspires!

What to expect:

• Introduction to Fontys ICT: Discover different components such as labs, the Accelerate IT courses, the master's degree programme, and the opportunities to participate in graduation sessions as an external expert.
• Collaboration and partnerships: Learn more about SPARC's partnership and how we work with partners in the InnovationLab.
• Student projects: Be surprised by pitches from students about their innovative projects:

Student project in the spotlight Get in and race yourself in a real go-kart with mixed reality! Have you always wanted to race in a real go-kart with a digital twist? With the XR Racer's Toolkit from GGeese Studio, you can experience a completely new way of karting! Wear a Quest 3 headset and dive into exciting game modes such as Capture the Flag, shooter battles, racing competitions and Whack-a-Mole! Are you ready to experience the future of racing? Come and race for yourself!
