12th edition of Maker Days

We live in a time when technology is everywhere - but when many people no longer know how things work. Maker Days changes that. It shows that you can build, improve, design and solve things yourself. That creativity, technology and imagination are not separate worlds, but reinforce each other. Children learn problem-solving thinking. Adults rediscover their creativity. Professionals find new ideas. And above all: people meet each other.

On 27 and 28 September, the centre of Eindhoven transforms into a vibrant party with crazy creations, fun activities and special inventions. There will also be a parade through the city centre.

Fontys ICT is present with the following projects:

Virtual Kart Track (Frans Mouws - Fontys ICT in collaboration with (former) students)

Visitors are challenged to put together the most fun and challenging virtual kart track possible themselves. Once finished, they can immediately race against each other on their own kart track. Participants thus get the opportunity to transform their ideas in real time, experiencing not only the fun of a game. But also get a (small) behind-the-scenes look at how to design games.

3Beam AIoT LED Black Board (Started by one Fontys ICT Delta student during his internship, now continued at Fontys ICT Open Learning & Delta. Makers are ICT students at Fontys)
