A look back at the Strijp-T Family Day and High-Tech Discovery Trail

Last Saturday, Strijp-T was all about technology, innovation and socialising during the Family Day and High-Tech Discovery Trail. The Fontys ICT Innovation Lab also opened its doors and welcomed many enthusiastic visitors. Young and old alike were introduced to the innovative projects and activities being developed within our lab. Visitors stepped into new worlds during the VR games, guided robots through challenging courses, discovered active learning with Picoo and saw how AI transformed their own drawings into unique game characters with the GenAirator. In addition, there was plenty of building going on during the ‘Build your own game’ workshop, and Erdinc inspired visitors with his AI session.

The large turnout, the visitors’ enthusiasm and the great conversations made the day a huge success. Events like this fit seamlessly with our growth ambition: to raise our profile, connect with the region and inspire future students, partners and talent with the possibilities of technology and innovation.
