The Smart Industry team 2nd place Actemium Automation Award

On 19th November, the 25th edition of the Actemium Automation Award took place!

Our team Smart Innovators from Fontys ICT Smart Industry, Koen van Elsen, Kasper Szczerba, Sander Vink, and Christian Peeters, achieved an impressive 2nd place, just 0.1 points behind the winning team from Hogeschool Utrecht.

The challenges focused on industrial automation and were provided by leading companies such as Siemens, Rockwell, SEW-Eurodrive, and IFM. The teams had to tackle eight different challenges in just 30 minutes each, and were evaluated on execution, team collaboration, and independence.

In all three categories, our team performed fantastically – a huge congratulations to Koen, Kasper, Sander, and Christian for their excellent performance!
