Meet the new platform for future tech talent: Spelbrekers!

How do you get young people excited about studying and pursuing a career in tech? After months of intensive collaboration, Fontys, Summa, Ter AA, TU/e and Brainport Development are launching a video-first platform that uses gaming to bridge the gap between the world of young people and tech: Spelbrekers! By linking familiar gaming worlds and concepts to real technologies, study programmes and companies, young people are given a more realistic and inspiring picture of the versatility of technical professions.

This initiative was created under the name “Talent for Semicon” and is part of the National Microchip Talent Reinforcement Plan (Project Beethoven). Together, we are building a new generation of vocational, higher professional and university talent that will shape the future of the Dutch microchip sector.
