Student-app “Bakkie Doen” in the news

The student project “Bakkie Doen” is now officially live after several iterations! Various colleagues and students from different semesters were involved in this project (with special mention for Kees Velthuijs). Brabants Dagblad visited the launch to report on it. The students developed the Bakkie Doen app for residents of the Satijnhof elderly care centre in Tilburg. The app makes it easy for them to plan activities with neighbours, such as having coffee or going for a walk together. The goal? To reduce loneliness and encourage social interaction.
