This is IT!

On Tuesday, 20 January, around 400 students presented their first semester projects during the This Is IT! event. In just five months, they showed what they are capable of. From a laser game with laser guns made from plastic bottles to a festival app and even their own video game. Their creativity and technical skills were impressive. What made it even more special was that the students were allowed to present their projects to their parents. The evening ended with drinks and the announcement of the winners, with first prize going to the M.I.M.I.C project, an AI animatronic that mimics human emotions. It is controlled by a camera connected to a Raspberry Pi.
