Do you work in IT and find that AI is increasingly becoming part of your role, but that the discussion is no longer purely technical? Then the new Master’s in AI Translation might be just the thing for you.
Fontys University of Applied Sciences and Avans University of Applied Sciences are jointly launching a practice-oriented Master’s programme for professionals who want to understand, interpret and apply AI responsibly within organisations. Not as a pure developer or data scientist, but as a bridge-builder between technology, organisation and society.
The programme is highly practice-oriented. You will work on realistic case studies in collaboration with businesses, government bodies and civil society organisations, including those in the Brainport region and Midpoint Brabant. Think of issues surrounding AI in public services, legal and ethical considerations, inclusive technology and organisational change.
The Master’s programme is designed for ICT graduates and other professionals who wish to broaden their technical foundation towards consultancy, design and management. This programme is particularly well-suited if you find your role shifting from ‘building’ to contributing ideas, weighing up options and providing direction.
The Master’s programme comprises 60 credits and can be taken as a one-year full-time programme (starting September 2026) or a two-year part-time programme (starting February 2027). The programme is offered in Dutch in Den Bosch and in English in Eindhoven.
Would you like to know more or are you considering enrolling? You can register your interest via this interest list. This will automatically keep you informed about the start of enrolment on Studielink and ensure you receive updates about the programme.
