Grand opening of the AI & Data Lab

The opening of the new AI & Data Lab at Fontys ICT attracted a great deal of interest. Following a welcome from Danny Jonker and an inspiring keynote speech by professor Gerard Schouten on the HAICu project, Joep Houterman officially opened the lab by symbolically cutting the ribbon. Visitors were given a tour of the lab, during which its capabilities were explained. In the AI & Data Lab, students, researchers and businesses work together on smart, practical AI solutions that make an impact in the region. The afternoon concluded with drinks.
